Who we are
Established in 2009, Global Explorer Marine Pte Ltd (GEM), a Singapore company, provides turnkey solutions in subsea engineering. We have a proven track record in shallow-water installation and subsea laying projects worldwide, supporting our clients with innovative, cost-effective, and reliable solutions that prioritise safety and environmental responsibility.
Our core expertise lies in the installation and protection of power and telecommunication cables, as well as umbilicals, in shallow waters and challenging terrains. These environments demand specialised, efficient approaches—driving us to design and manufacture project-specific cable lay and burial equipment, and to execute installation and burial operations in-house.
Our capabilities are underpinned by a highly experienced team with extensive expertise in subsea construction and state-of-the-art cable installation, repair, and maintenance technologies. Together, we deliver practical, high-performance solutions tailored to each project’s requirements.
